Soulash is a unique roguelike where the premise is to destroy the world instead of saving it. The new pantheon of gods has overthrown you, an all-powerful god, and drained your power. Now you're back in the world you created, corrupted by foreign influence. There is no turning back. The only way is to consume it.

To survive in the mortal realm, you have to take the body of a mortal. You choose one of multiple races and professions with unique abilities and go on burning villages, conquering castles and ruining great cities.

The game has multiple mechanics that enhance gameplay like a weather system, day-night cycle, destructible terrain. The game has a new item system that has destructible gear, crafting with recipes learned after the deconstruction of items.

There are over 100 animated abilities available among all professions, that are available when advancing in levels. It's possible to pick abilities from different professions allowing to build unique characters.

It combines old-school abstract graphics that work on imagination with modern GUI that has buttons and tooltips for all available actions.

Soulash is in active development, currently in version 0.3 alpha, released on itch.io. Soulash follows a roadmap up to v0.5 presently on a 4-month major release schedule. A first big patch was released in October 2019 that introduced destructible terrain, and new areas of the Undying Desert where false god can be eliminated. The next major patch is bringing mod support with editors for new content available to the public.
