Grid 2019 – Once you get used to it, you won’t stop having fun

Grid is a racing game and a return of a very popular racing series people wanted for a very long time. With Grid 2019 reboot you get to have wheel to wheel racing and lots of street or track racing at its finest. There are only 11 tracks in the game, which feels a bit stale to be honest, but at the same time Grid does an amazing job when it comes to introducing a plethora of different cars that you can use in here.

They brought in a lot of variety, with Touring Cars, Muscle Cars, GT and even some special cars like the Minis for example. That really pushes the boundaries as you can go on the same track but have a totally different experience as you try to become the best at this game and just push things to that next level in a very creative and powerful manner.

Right from the start, the single player mode puts you in a large campaign where you have to go through tons of races in order to enter the Grid World Tour. It’s a nice idea and it will bring you all kinds of different demanding things and experiences. The game also has a new Nemesis system where people that you touched many times will try and attack you and stop you from becoming the winner. The system is very interesting and quite different from what you usually see here. But it really pushes the boundaries. It delivers plenty of value and you will find it quite immersive and different every time.

You will have a teammate in the game, and he will try to help you too. In the end you are the one that needs to push the boundaries and try to win through as much challenge as possible. dealing with all that pressure can be challenging, but it’s where Grid 2019 reboot works really well. It will take a bit of time to master every class, and then there’s also the fact that most of these races are different and there are different racing conditions too. All of that ads to the appeal of the game and it shows that you can have lots of cool moments and a great time exploring all these challenges as you go along.

There’s a leveling system in the game that unlocks new content, you also have lots of cars in here, and overall you will get a great variety. More than 50 cars are here, with more being added in the near future via DLC, and it seems they are adding new tracks too.

The multiplayer mode is peer to peer, it’s pretty basic but it works quite nicely if you find the players for it. That being said, Grid is a nice experience for racing fans and if you like this type of genre you will definitely get a kick out of the gameplay and the overall experience. It does take a little while to get used to the game however, but then again that’s to be expected with a title like this. Grid is a game about determination and becoming the best driver, and you will have a lot of fun with it!
